Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) questioned the Acting Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Chris Rocheleau, during a House Appropriations Committee Subcommittee on THUD hearing. Congressman Gonzales pressed Acting FAA Administrator Rocheleau on the United States’ preparedness when it comes to UAS systems/drones in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war and how the FAA monitors how many UAS systems/drones are in American airspace at any given time.

Governor Greg Abbott today signed into law the strongest bail reform package in Texas history at Crime Stoppers of Houston. Joined by dozens of bail reform advocates and families of victims, the Governor signed Senate Bill 9, Senate Bill 40, House Bill 75, and Senate Joint Resolution 5 to protect Texans by keeping violent, repeat offenders behind bars.

Cruz, who chairs the Senate Judiciary's Federal Courts, Oversight & Federal Rights Subcommittee, is taking on judicial blockage of the Federal Govt. deporting illegal aliens.

After a brutal couple of months at the start of the year due to the Trump tariff turmoil, the American Economy is humming right now. In fact, the Atlanta Fed's latest estimate for GDP growth for the 2nd Quarter reflects a more-than-healthy 4.6% Growth Rate. The president's Economic Policies have flipped U.S. investment from negative to positive, consumer confidence is up to a 4-Year High – and consumers are spending again.

Last week, in what is being called the largest-ever ICE enforcement operation, nearly 1,500 illegal foreign nationals were arrested—most of them hiding in so-called “sanctuary” jurisdictions. That’s not just a number. That’s a blunt warning: there are thousands more just like them—living, working, and perhaps plotting among us, thanks to open-border ideologues and their enablers in blue-state leadership.

Governor Greg Abbott commended the Texas Legislature for making a Texas-size investment in the state's water infrastructure following passage of Senate Bill 7 and House Joint Resolution 7. In his 2025 State of the State Address earlier this year, Governor Abbott declared a Texas-size investment in water infrastructure an emergency item this legislative session.

“This session was a team effort, and I want to thank all 31 Senators and staff for their hard work and perseverance. None of these major victories would be possible without their dedication over the interim and during the session. I also want to thank Gov. Abbott and Speaker Burrows for their partnership in delivering major victories for Texans all session – Texans are the real winners this Legislative Session," said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.

“Over many years, the Texas Legislature has approved legislation to allow local governments to partner with private developers to build hotels and convention centers. House Bill 2974 includes language forbidding local governments from adding unlimited projects. One prominent Austin lobbyist is threatening to kill HB 2974’s reforms unless taxpayer protection language by Sen. Birdwell is removed. This is absurd and terrible public policy, and we will not negotiate."

In the least shocking turn of events since this morning, Democrat sleazebags jumped onto what they thought would be a "victory" for the day like it was a moderately attractive intern in a left-wing committee office up on Capitol Hill. But when you have Chris Murphy, Democrat of Connecticut, trying to lecture you about “morality” a few months after he left his wife and family for a much younger woman, you can’t ever be sure.

"Never before has the Texas Legislature allocated more funds to provide Property Tax Relief than they did this session," said Gov. Abbott. "Texas home and business owners are on their way to keeping more of their hard-earned money,” said Speaker Burrows. "The average senior homeowner will no longer pay any school property taxes for the rest of their life," said Lt. Gov. Patrick – if Texas voters approve the changes this November.

“This session, Senate Finance Chair Joan Huffman has done a masterful job, committing a record $51 billion for property tax relief and a record $8.5 billion for public education funding, all while keeping our budget conservative, with billions of dollars unspent and without touching the rainy day fund. Nearly one out of every four dollars in state funds has been devoted to property tax relief for Texans."
