DeVore: Officers Face Deadly Attacks, Trump Moves Fast to Save LA from 1992 Repeat

In 1992 I patrolled parts of LA during the Rodney King Riots. Looters ran wild, businesses burned, and chaos reigned – until Republican Gov. Pete Wilson & President George H.W. Bush called up the National Guard and invoked "The Insurrection Act," sending 3,500 Federal Troops, active duty Army & Marines, to back 10,000 Federalized Guardsmen. I was a California Army National Guard Captain, order swiftly returned – and it worked.

Let California Collapse -- and Let the Rest of America Learn

California has long prided itself on being a symbol of progressive governance, a supposed beacon of tolerance, opportunity and inclusivity. But behind the glittering curtain of Hollywood dreams and Silicon Valley innovation lies a troubling reality -- a self-inflicted crisis stemming from policies that defy economic logic and common sense. As California grapples with an unprecedented immigration surge, ballooning homelessness and mass exodus of residents and businesses, the question arises: Should the federal government intervene?

Is Ken Paxton Inadvertently Doing Climate Activists’ ESG Bidding?

Comptroller Glenn Hegar & Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick began to work in 2021 to have Texas lead the nation in reversing the woke left's Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) policy designed to harm Energy Companies as part of the Climate Wars. But, while Patrick & Hegar deserve enormous credit for turning the tide, the Wall Street Journal now says that Texas A.G. Ken Paxton is behind a lawsuit that stands in stark contrast to Patrick & Hegar's leadership.

Congressman Babin: Honoring the 81st Anniversary of D-Day

Last week, we commemorated the 81st anniversary of D-Day. On June 6, 1944, thousands of brave American service members stormed the beaches of Normandy, facing unimaginable danger to liberate Europe from tyranny. Their courage and unwavering sense of duty changed the course of history and secured the blessings of liberty for generations to come. As Americans, we are forever indebted to the heroes of D-Day and all who have worn the uniform of our Armed Forces.

In LA Riot Standoff, Trump Is Right. Bass and Newsom Are Wrong

Bass and Newsom also seem to think that the president should not be able to send the National Guard to Los Angeles when the governor has not requested it. Newsom has just filed suit against President Trump over the issue. But he and the mayor are, unfortunately for them, on the wrong side of that question, too. Yes, usually when a president sends the National Guard, it is at the request of a state's governor. But not always.

HUNTER: L.A Rioters Aren’t Peaceful, They’re Violent – Since Newsom Won’t Act, Trump Must

It’s time to accept that some people simply cannot be reached – they're like smelly, woke National Democrats who stand for the rights a criminals who are in our country illegally — or wait, like California leftists who cannot be reasoned with. They’re AOC, Chuck Schumer and Gavin Newsome Democrats. The rest of us don’t necessarily have to pay attention to them, but we do need to be informed about their activities that enable lawbreaking, or are anti-American.

CONG. McCAUL: Standing Up to Anti-Semitism, Countering Terrorism in Wake of the Boulder Attack

I was deeply saddened and disturbed by the heinous attack that occurred recently in Boulder, Colorado in which an Egyptian citizen who'd overstayed his visa launched Molotov Cocktails at a group innocent people — including a Holocaust survivor — who were marching peacefully in support of Israeli hostages. I am praying for a full recovery for the victims. The recent rise in antisemitic acts of violence is appalling and unacceptable.
