Gov. Abbott Announces Schneider Electric Expansion In El Paso

Governor Greg Abbott announced that Schneider Electric USA, Inc. (“Schneider Electric USA”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Schneider Electric SE, will modernize and expand their electric equipment manufacturing facilities on their El Paso campus. The multi-million-dollar project will create 300 new jobs. A Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $1.5 million has been extended to Schneider Electric USA.

Creighton Files SB 1723 to Expand Rapid DNA Technology, Strengthen Public Safety

Sen. Cruz's Resolution Reversing IRS Cryptocurrency Rule Passes with Overwhelming, Bipartisan Majority

The United State Senate passed a resolution authored by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz to overturn a Biden administration midnight rule imposing regulations on software developers of decentralized financial (DeFi) technology. The resolution passed by an overwhelming bipartisan majority, 70-28. The rule defined those developers as “brokers,” even though they did not touch any of the cryptocurrency being exchanged. The resolution is the first crypto-related measure to pass the Senate this Congress and will now head to the House.
