Iowa, which has been a leader in education reform under Governor Kim Reynolds, is asking for its federal aid to be consolidated into a single block grant with few federal strings attached. Reynolds says block grants would "give states the flexibility to stretch federal dollars further, rather than following the dictates of distant federal bureaucrats who don't have the same visibility into our state's needs."
The rule demands greater transparency for District and County Attorneys representing a county with a population of 400,000 or more and requires them to provide specific performance reports to the Office of the Attorney General (“OAG”). Further, the rule provides OAG access to detailed report information upon request, specifies a process to attain any overdue reports, and outlines consequences if a District or County Attorney intentionally seeks to violate the enhanced reporting requirements.
If it weren’t for the fact that it is Democrats doing it, it would almost be shocking that there is so much opposition to the efforts of Mr. Trump, through DOGE, to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government. What person, in their right mind, could possibly be against having THEIR tax dollars used wisely, not wasted on frivolous, unnecessary projects, or just flat being abused by unscrupulous politicians and bureaucrats? Even Bernie Sanders, back in 2008, is on tape saying that government waste should be excised. Why such hostility now?
On Thursday morning, President Trump announced that U.S. Authorities apprehended a 24-year-old illegal immigrant, identified as one of the Top 3 Leaders of the MS-13 Gang in the United States. MS-13 is one of the most dangerous transnational gangs in the world – known for brutal tactics including murder, extortion, sexual violence, drug trafficking & more. American families can finally begin to breathe a sigh of relief knowing President Trump's Administration will stop at nothing to protect our communities.
The Republican Study Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives is taking on the critical issues facing our nation – major investments in modernizing our military, the importance of DOGE Savings, the fight against rogue judges who are undermining our President, and more. And in case you missed it, as Co-chair of the House Border Security Caucus I joined Fox Business to break it all down — including my "Birthright Citizenship Act." We're moving to take swift action and restore order to our nation.
Democrats and your regime media. check your calendars. It’s 2025, and what used to work doesn’t work anymore. You haven’t changed, but we Republicans have. We are no longer reacting as you expect and demand us to. We also now have a president who doesn't give a damn what either Democrats or the regime media think. That leaves the Democrats with exactly nothing but increasingly shrill and profanity-laden caterwauling. That just makes us giggle. We’re winning, you’re losing, and it’s beautiful.
Think about this for a second: When asked "Who best represents your Democrat Party’s values," Democrats say Cong. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez leads with a meager 10%, a lame 9% say Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders hits 8%, and the rest barely even register – Oh Wait! 30% of respondents just said, “No one.” When your party’s best-known faces can’t even cobble together double-digit support – and a third of your base doesn’t even believe leadership exists – you’ve got a branding problem.

After they tried to stop Elon Musk's DOGE Committee – and its identification of government Theft, Fraud & Abuse – leftist are now terrorizing Tesla owners nationwide. Nationwide violence is returning as they seek to destroy and damage Tesla cars, dealerships, and charging stations. Furious at their party's increasing impotence and incompetence, these contemporary Democrats are imposing their own version of a reign of Smut Terror. Too insignificant to derail the country, they're certainly destroying the Party.
Note to the Texas House DOGE Committee: If schools want more money this Session, how about they agree to cut some administrative positions and ivory tower office buildings to start. State Rep. Giovanni Capriglione – known for his diligence, integrity and lack of fear of the establishment – has been chosen to lead the new Delivery of Govt. Efficiency (DOGE) Committee in the Texas House... and help them out by requiring more be spent on rapid increases in reading. They won’t or don’t know how to do these on their own.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom hosts a podcast. Why not? He has plenty of free time. In the last few years, California experienced a net population loss of nearly 1 million people. The state's January 2025 unemployment rate, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, was the second highest in the nation.
