CONG. McCAUL: Wasteful High-Speed Rail Grant Stopped in Its Tracks, Cancelled

Last week, Transportation Sect. Sean Duffy announced that the Trump White House had terminated the $63.9 million Biden Administration Grant for an Amtrak "High-Speed Rail Corridor" between Dallas & Houston. It would have forced my Texas constituents to subsidize the very project that would have seized their property in order to build it. Originally proposed as a private sector venture, it was another example of wasteful government spending.

Sen. Cruz, EPA Director Zeldin Visit West Texas to Promote U.S. Energy Dominance

“When I was going through my Senate Confirmation Process, I made a commitment to Senator Cruz that I would travel down to Midland, tour an oil rig, and reaffirm my support to achieve American Energy Dominance. The Trump EPA does not believe in regulating this industry out of existence – instead we want to partner with Texas' leaders to keep producing American energy," said Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) head Lee Zeldin.

McCULLOUGH: Why Democrats Are on the Wrong Side of Boys & Girls Sports History

If there’s one thing the American people have made overwhelmingly clear, it’s this: Boys should not compete in Girls’ Sports. The public knows it, science proves it, and the Constitution leans that way too. But don’t tell the Governors or Bureaucrats in Illinois or Maine – they’re too busy virtue signaling from the cliffs of reality. The most shameful part of this whole farse is how young women are being told to sit down, shut up, and take the loss.

Will Harvard Go Full Hillsdale?

Harvard University has rejected various demands of a presidential commission on antisemitism. The task force wants to persuade Harvard to ensure Jewish students on its campus are no longer harassed, or else lose its federal funding. Harvard retorts that it won't be bullied by Washington. The Trump administration also warned Harvard to cease using race as a criterion in its admissions, hiring, and promotion, contrary to law. No matter. Harvard claimed that the Trump administration infringed upon its First Amendment rights.

Abbott, adding, "This is an extraordinary victory for the 1,000s of parents who've advocated for more choices to educate their children. Chairmen Babin & Cruz Lead Effort to Relocate NASA Headquarters to Houston

"As NASA’s leadership has languished in our nation’s capital, the core missions of this critical agency are more divided than ever. This seismic disconnect between NASA’s headquarters and its missions centers has opened the door to bureaucratic micromanagement," say Cruz, Babin, and other Texans in Congress, arguing that Houston is well suited with Mission Control, the NASA Astronaut Corps, and the Lunar Sample Laboratory Facility already located there.

CONG. FALLON: Restoring Our U.S. Industrial Base to Combat China

U.S. intelligence predicts a Chinese invasion of Taiwan by 2027 – just two short years away. The fall of Taiwan would give China a corner on the world’s market for semiconductor chips used in everything from cars, to smartphones, to satellites. Such a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) victory would also embolden the authoritarian regime’s expansionist ambitions elsewhere. Texas Cong. Pat Fallon, an Air Force veteran, has some ideas how to counter such developments

The director of ‘The Chosen’, a series about Jesus, testified that $70 million spent in Texas created over 1,000 jobs in Midlothian and East Texas.

McCAUGHEY: The U.S. has Been Warned & Must Act – China Threatens Our Medical Care

China has a death grip on our medical supplies – and consequently our ability to survive. It is the sole manufacturer of 100 medications we commonly use, including antibiotics and blood thinners. It's the largest supplier of nitrate gloves, masks, syringes and other medical equipment essential in hospitals. China has threatened to weaponize these monopolies, and to throw our hospitals into chaos, stress us in our death beds, and watch us suffer.

THOMAS: An Unhappy Tax Day to All Who Pay Income Taxes

It can be safely said that most Americans despise April 15th – the day we must “Render unto Caesar” and to a government that wastes so much of our hard-earned money with little-to-no exposure or accountability. That’s why Democrats and the left despises Elon Musk and his merry band of warriors at DOGE. While some of the theft, waste, fraud and abuse has been exposed by DOGE, it won’t be fully stopped until two things happen.

Lt. Gov. Patrick: The Texas Senate Firing on All Cylinders

“Last week, the Texas Senate did not take its foot off the gas pedal, passing 186 bills over to the Texas House – including 3 of our Top 40 Priority Bills. We passed a giant business tax cut, established a homeland security division within the Texas Dept. of Public Safety (DPS), passed legislation stopping squatters from taking advantage of Texas property owners, and more. The Senate's firing on all cylinders, and we will not be stopping any time soon," said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.
