Texas Economy Continues Strong Growth: Comptroller Hegar says Monthly Sales Tax Revenues Up from 2022


These allocations are based on sales made in January by businesses that report tax monthly.
 
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will be sending Cities, Counties, Transit Systems and Special Purpose Districts across the state $1 billion in Local Sales Tax Allocations for March – which is up 9.9% when compared to what was sent in March 2022.

These allocations are based on sales made in January by businesses that report tax monthly.












 

When used with other local indicators, the Comptroller's Office says these reports may help indicate the direction of present, and/or future economic trends.
