Patrick Reports $15.4 Million in Campaign War Chest

"As in 2018, I will be working to help re-elect Republicans who are running this year for re-election to the Texas Senate."

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – (HOUSTON TX) – Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick will report raising $2,624,150 million on his July 15, 2020 Texas Ethics Commission (TEC) report. This brings his campaign war chest total to $15,458,849, once again breaking the record of any Lt. Governor in Texas history.

“I am continuing to build a robust war chest for my re-election campaign in 2022 against the Democrats, fighting to stop the socialist, job-killing, energy-hating, tax-increasing, pro-abortion, anti-gun left-wing liberals from gaining any ground in Texas. As in 2018, I will be working to help re-elect Republicans who are running this year for re-election to the Texas Senate.

“Texans know that Republican leadership is key to keeping Texas strong, even in these uncertain times. I suspended fundraising for several months earlier this year, which makes me even more grateful for another record breaking fundraising report.

“The 2020 election will decide the future of our nation – and the world. Right now, violence is breaking out in our cities, law enforcement is under attack and our values and principles are being trampled by the intolerance and ignorance of those who seem not to know or care what America stands for and what has made us great. I intend to work tirelessly to ensure they do not prevail.”

Lt. Governor Patrick serves as Chair of President Donald J. Trump’s re-election campaign in Texas. In 2018, he spent over a million dollars in support of Republicans running for the Texas Senate.
