Recently – and quite rightly – President Trump posted in part on Truth Social: “I’ve settled 6 Wars in 6 months, one of them a possible Nuclear disaster, and yet I have to read & listen to the Wall Street Journal, and many other who truly don’t have a clue, tell me everything that I am doing wrong on the Russia/Ukraine MESS, that is Sleepy Joe Biden’s war, not mine. I’m only here to stop it, not to prosecute it any further. It would have NEVER happened if I was President…”
Democrats are not good at getting things done, but still manage to do a lot. Most of what they do is standing in the way of getting things done, and while they’d like to portray themselves as the Chinese man standing up to the tanks in Tiananmen Square, ideologically they are more in line with the guys driving those tanks. Over the last 7 days, Democrats have packed in a lot of stupid. It’s almost a skill, really, as people with high or even average intelligence would have difficulty finding so many new and creative ways to be idiots.
t’s almost too perfect. For years, the political class mocked Donald J. Trump as a wrecking ball in foreign affairs—too brash, too blunt, too reckless to ever bring peace to a world stage. Yet here we are: the war in Ukraine, one of the deadliest conflicts in modern Europe, may actually be brought to a conclusion not by endless U.N. chatter or NATO bureaucrats, but by Trump himself.
So, who in 2020, and now once again, has boasted about packing the 156-year-old, nine-justice Supreme Court? Who talks frequently about destroying the 187-year-old Senate filibuster--though only when they hold a Senate majority? Who wants to bring in an insolvent left-wing Puerto Rico and redefine the 235-year-old District of Columbia -- by altering the Constitution -- as two new states solely to obtain four additional liberal senators?
This week’s cliffhanger? “We have a consolidating dictatorship in our country.” In Maddow’s latest monologue, she painted Trump’s America as a police-state nightmare — “secret police” supposedly prowling for immigrants, civil life grinding to a halt, the entire nation undergoing a “profound” transformation in just six months. If you closed your eyes, you’d think she was describing Venezuela with better lighting.
There's a reason he should be upset. California companies are pulling up in droves and moving to the Lone Star State or elsewhere. But that isn't what's bothering him. Newsom cares about politics and power, not markets and business. He's upset that the Texas state legislature is moving to redistricting that could add up to five Republican seats in 2026.
As the debate intensifies in the Texas Capitol, a dangerous and misleading narrative is taking root that the state’s narrowly tailored medical marijuana program (TCUP) can somehow serve as a full replacement for the thriving, diverse, and federally legal market of hemp-derived THC products. This is not only false, it's a manufactured choice that threatens to strip 1,000s of Texans of access to safe, affordable, and constitutionally protected alternatives.
Adam Schiff has always had that smug “I know something you don’t know” smirk. This week, a Democratic whistleblower—someone who worked in Schiff’s own House orbit for more than a decade—told the FBI that Schiff personally approved leaking classified material in order to smear Donald Trump. Not a rumor. Not a guess. Not an “I heard it from a guy.” The whistleblower alleges Schiff gave the order in a general staff meeting. Translation: he wanted an audience for his treachery.
The major force for peace in the world today is not the United Nations, it is President Donald Trump. In his four ½ years as President, he has accomplished more to end wars and save lives than the organization that is supposedly “the world’s best hope for peace.” In his first term, President Trump negotiated the Abraham Accords, which established diplomatic relations between Israel and four Arab nations: Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and the United Arab Emirates. He also negotiated an “economic normalization deal” between Serbia and Kosovo, two hostile nations.
President Donald Trump's executive orders banning Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI)-related racial and gender preferencing have ostensibly doomed the DEI industry. But DEI was already on its last legs. Half of all Americans no longer approve of racial, ethnic, or gender preferences. DEI had enjoyed a surge following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent 120 days of nonstop rioting, arson, assaults, killings, and attacks on law enforcement during the summer of 2020.
This is what has happened in the Sydney Sweeney storm. An ad for American Eagle blue jeans and especially the reaction to it catapulted the 27-year-old actress to national fame and controversy. Move over Taylor Swift! In case you weren't paying attention, the ad shows Sweeney reclining while zipping up a pair of jeans and flashing a little cleavage. What sparked the woke left's attention and outrage was the ad copy which invoked a double meaning: "It's not just good genes. Sydney Sweeney has great jeans." Critics claim the ad promotes eugenics.
Recently, a large group of black youths began pummeling several white adults in downtown Cincinnati. The original altercation apparently broke out between a black and white male in he-said/he-said fashion. But that dispute soon turned into a virtual free-for-all. Numerous male and female black youths sucker-punched a middle-aged woman and a man. Others continued to kick or body slam the victims, who were sprawled on their backs and seemingly unconscious.
I can imagine the headline here might upset a lot of people – you’re not supposed to call people ugly – but some people are ugly and everyone knows it. I’m not talking exclusively physically, though that’s a big part. A good-looking woman, for example, can be rendered completely unattractive if she’s stupid, or liberal. The thing about liberal women is, they seem to have deliberately chosen to be ugly.
Federal marijuana policy in the U.S. has been broken for more than 50 years. It started in 1970 when a Democrat-controlled Congress passed the "Controlled Substances Act" and established "schedules" classifying drugs based on their potential for abuse and/or medical use. In Texas, lawmakers just overwhelmingly passed legislation to expand the Compassionate Use Program, giving more patients access to cannabis-based treatments.
It's perhaps the most powerful example of Democrats being on the wrong side of an 80-20 issue. It's working against them in increasingly significant ways, and has everyone asking why they would take the position they're taking – while essentially destroying their hopes for any form of rebound in 2026. Some would say it’s rooted in "Trump Derangement Syndrome," but the real reason Democrats hold to their Illegal Immigration position is – power.
It's being described by the media as an "autopsy" – an examination by Democrats as to why they lost the Presidential Election & Congressional Majority. By choosing such a word, the media and their fellow Democrats appear to believe the party is dead – but since "The Left" doesn't really believe in a Resurrection, what are they to do to re-take the presidency and Congress? After an autopsy, the body is usually buried.
This week, I got a call from the National Republican Congressional Committee. They wanted a donation. For the first time, I let the volunteer on the other end of the line make her case. When she asked me to donate $100, I said to her: “I want you to know that normally, I would hang up on these calls because the Republican Party would get nothing done and often squanders its political capital. However, this is the first time I am planning to donate. You are getting sh—t done!”
Ronald Reagan, who called for the cancelation of scores of programs, couldn't get Congress to end the eternal life-support system. After watching Congress fund even the most inefficient agencies, he famously groused that "the closest thing to immortality on this earth is a government program." But to quote the back-in-vogue poet of the people, Bob Dylan, the times they are a-changin' in Washington.
Parents and students across the country have reason to celebrate after President Trump signed the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" into law on Independence Day. For the first time in U.S. history, the federal government established a tax credit to provide scholarship funding for students’ kindergarten through 12th grade education. This marks a historic step toward universal education choice, parent-directed funding, and freedom from failing systems.
We now know – without conjecture or spin – that the so-called “Russia Collusion” narrative of 2016 was a top-down, Obama White House-engineered fabrication. It was a deliberate operation to undermine a Duly Elected President of the United States. This isn't about Donald Trump anymore – if we let this go unanswered, Democrats will try it again in the future. As of today, Declassified Documents now tell us the story.
