I will not deny that every country on earth that has a National Health Care Program all have problems."

WASHINGTON D.C. (Texas Insider Report) Absolutely. When I talk about health care being a human right last time I heard undocumented people are human beings as well" said Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders admitting his Medicare for All plan would provide taxpayer-funded health care benefits to illegal immigrants if given the option.

While the U.S. government and numerous outside groups traditionally estimate the number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. as being between 11-to-12 million a study released in September 2018 by MIT and Yale University said a more conservative estimate" would approximate 16.7 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. in 2016 with an average simulation of 22.1 million for various periods since then.

This is unfair to Americas seniors who have worked hard and paid into Medicare their whole life!" Trump 2020 campaign rapid response director Andrew Clark said of the idea.

2018 Mercatus Center estimate put the cost of Sanders plan around $32.6 trillion over 10 years.

However that estimate does not include the costs of putting illegal immigrants on the taxpayer dime after several months of record-breaking apprehension numbers during much of 2019 at the southern border.

As of June 30th 2019 U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) personnel had made contact with 905926 illegal immigrants including 694229 who entered the country without permission.

  • That number surpasses the 683178 encountered both at ports of entry and between ports in Fiscal Year 2018.
  • The 694229 figure covering only the first nine months of FY 2019 was more than double the 310000 who illegally crossed the Southern Border during Fiscal Year 2017.

And candidate Elizabeth Warren also said when pressed in November during a forum hosted by the El Chisme Latinx organization that

Medicare for All as I put this together covers everyone regardless of immigration status and thats it" Warren said.

Warrens Medicare for All" plan immediately came under attack from her fellow Democrats following its release in November as Joe Biden and others pointed out it would inevitably raise taxes on the middle class.

Bidens campaign attacked Warrens plan saying she has been low-balling the cost" of her Medicare for All" plan and calling  middle class tax increases inevitable."

Senator Warren has spent months dodging questions about how shed need to raise taxes on the American middle class in order to pay for her single payer health care plan" said Joe Bidens campaign at the time.

Warrens Medicare for All" plan would also repeal President Trumps signature Tax Cuts & Jobs Act noted Americans for Tax Reform. The groups analysis said Warrens proposal would come with guaranteed tax increase for middle class Americans.

Sanders who wrote the damn bill" as he likes to say first admitted that middle class taxes would go up under his Medicare for All" plan telling a CNN reporter shortly after the Democrats July 2019 debate:

Yeah raise taxes on the middle class" Sanders told a CNN.

Sanders made his absolutely statement after offering remarks about his Medicare for All" proposal before the National Association of Latino Elected & Appointed Officials (NALEO) candidate forum last year in Miami. When asked whether or not he would include the 11 million undocumented immigrants" Sanders responded:

Absolutely... Literally starting yesterday the insurance companies and the drug companies are starting to spend tens and tens of millions of dollars to fight against Medicare for All" Sanders said.

We will organize the American people around the concept that all people in this country have the right to health care and at the end of the day we are going to win that struggle."

During his speech Sanders acknowledged that government-run health care indeed comes with flaws.

I will not deny that every country on earth that has a National Health Care Program all have problems" Sanders said brushing aside such problems as the nature of health care and a changing technology."
