Texas Insider Report WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Committee granted, by a recorded vote of 9-4, a rule providing for consideration of H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act of 2023, and H.R. 1163, the Protecting Taxpayers and Victims of Unemployment Fraud Act.
The rule provides for consideration of H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act of 2023, under a closed rule.
The rule waives all points of order against consideration of the bill.- The rule provides that the bill shall be considered as read.
