I do not think we are close to war. But I think we are closer to being closer to war -- if you see what I mean.
Obama & Kerry have
set another red line. Putin thinks both of them are dolts. Obama has
already undone what Bush
accomplished in Iraq and he and Kerry could undo the gains made in the Cold War situation. I DO NOT WANT TO SEND TROOPS IN OR START A HOT WAR. But we ( US & Europe) should do everything we can to make Putin back down.
Putin doesnt back down.
So it will take a strong effort and frankly a strong president who is willing to assert US influence if not our military power. Whether Obama is simply weak or whether he supports Russian expansionism he clearly doesnt not want the US to be the main power on the world stage. Go back and watch Dinesh DSouzas film

The missing 777 jetliner has become the biggest mystery in the history of aviation. My (?) deductive powers tell me that something is fishy -- that perhaps the pilot or someone on the plane with great knowledge of the aircrafts systems has disabled many of its tracking systems. This plane may be intact and in the hands of our enemies. Or it may have crashed and sunk. But in these days of satellites and digital tracking capabilities it seems unlikely a plane could simply disappear.

TEMPLE TEXAS SOAP OPERA: Arrested charged and out on bail Mayor Pro Tem Judy Morales was expected to resign. So far nothing on that. Perhaps we dont know Ms. Morales quite as well as we thought. The rest of the City Council seems to be coming to terms with what she is (someone who has committed crimes) and will hopefully act lawfully and openly to remove her from the Council. THIS SHOULD BE DONE IS OPEN SESSION -- ALL OF IT. This is NOT a personnel matter. Ms. Morales is a not a city hire. She was elected by the people and betrayed their trust. All discussions and actions should be conducted in front of her constituents.
Hopefully we are beyond the mistakes were make and she put us elected officials in a bad position phase of this story. The citizens of Temple who have shown up asking for a free pass for her are making me wonder. What hold does she have over them? What did she do to command this type of allegiance? Why is a non-paid council position so important? It makes no sense.

MORE CORRUPTION? FBI agents and Utah prosecutors are looking into Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Utah Senator Mike Lee.
Reid is being investigated for influence peddling and Lee for a real restate deal. I have no idea about Lee -- but I have long thought that Reid has used his office for personal gain. We shall see.
We are a nation of laws and not men. Or at least I think we are.
