Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Gov. Greg Abbott today issued three proclamations setting February 17 2015 as the date for the runoff elections to fill the Texas Senate District 26 seat being vacated by Sen. Leticia Van de Putte the Texas House District 17 seat being vacated by Rep. Tim Kleinschmidt and the Texas House District 123 seat being vacated by Rep. Michael Villarreal .
The early voting period for these runoff elections will be held from February 9 2015 to February 13 2015. Those elected will serve for the remainder of the former legislators terms.
