said Americans for Prosperity-Texas Director Peggy Venable applauding U.S. Senate Candidate David Dewhurst for signing AFPs Defending the American Dream Pledge.

Dewhurst joins more than 80 elected officials and candidates across Texas on the federal state and local levels who are pledging to
support limiting spending growth to population growth plus inflation; creating Emergency and Budget Stabilization funds with excess tax revenue and returning any tax dollars above the necessary amount back to the taxpayers through tax cuts; and requiring voter or legislative super majority approval for tax and spending increases."
