Catching Up With Chairman Munisteri
I was honored to receive kind words from Republican Party of Texas Chairman Steve Munisteri in his Chairmans Update this week: The next day back in Austin I had a chance to meet with Rep. Larry Gonzales regarding strategies to effectively outreach to Hispanic communities said Chairman Munisteri. Rep. Gonzales was recently reelected to his second term and is a rising star within our party he added.

Comptroller Releases Revenue Estimate
The Comptroller on Monday released her revenue estimate for the remainder of fiscal year 2013 and the upcoming 2014-2015 biennium. As we anticipated our states economy is improving and well have more money available to us this session. However this doesnt make the budget process easy. With increased revenue comes different challenges. We still need to make fiscally responsible decisions related to spending.
