It was a historic election for fiscal conservatives and the Texas House of Representatives now has 22 more Republican lawmakers. The election was a conservative mandate for Texas and the leadership of the Texas House should reflect that mandate. We have a great opportunity to have true fiscal conservatives as Speaker and committee chairmen in the Texas House.
