Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas The White House announced plans to seek a stay against a federal judges ruling enjoining in full President Obamas immigration executive action. Texas leads a 26-state coalition fighting the Presidents attempt to unilaterally grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. General Ken Paxton issued the following statement:
A federal judge properly enjoined President Obamas lawless executive amnesty. We are a nation of laws and I will vigorously defend the United States Constitution as Texas and our fellow states continue to fight back against the aggressive overreach of this lawless administration."
Joining Texas in the lawsuit are: Alabama Arizona Arkansas Florida Georgia Idaho Indiana Kansas Louisiana Maine Michigan Mississippi Montana Nebraska Nevada North Carolina North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Utah West Virginia Wisconsin.
