Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas This weekend wildfires have devastated our state including parts of Hays County. Over 1000 homes have been destroyed and 10s of 1000s of acres have been burned. Firefighters continue to battle the flames hoping to prevent any further loss of life or property.
Below is information on how to stay informed about the progress of the fires as well as what you can do to help. Please call my office at

Where to go for Help
- Hays County government has done a great job of keeping local residents informed and prepared. Click HERE to visit their website for up to date information on the progress of the fires evacuations contact info and to sign up for emergency notifications on your cell phone. - If you have been affected by the fires check in as safe and well with the Red Cross HERE to let your family and friends know youre okay.
