Flynn was named a “2013 Champion of Free Enterprise“
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Representative Dan Flynn (R-Van) was among the legislators endorsed by the Texas Association of Business’ BAC-PAC for his commitment to keeping Texas a pro-business environment. “I am honored to have the support of a group that represents such a large percentage of businesses in House District 2 and across Texas,” commented Flynn.
“It remains my goal to continue to promote a healthy business climate in Texas. With the help and support of TAB I am confident that we can maintain this conservative, pro-business mentality through future legislative sessions,” said Flynn as the Texas Association of Business (TAB) Business and Commerce Political Action Committee (BAC-PAC) made endorsements for the 2014 election cycle.
In the fall of 2013, Representative Flynn was named a “Champion of Free Enterprise” by the Texas Association of Business for his work to protect private sector businesses from unnecessary regulation and mandates. Representative Flynn scored a cumulative 93% for the 83rd Session.
The BAC-PAC has delayed three key endorsements until the TAB Annual Conference in February.
“The PAC Board is not endorsing in the Lieutenant Governor, Comptroller and Attorney General races today,” said TAB President & CEO Bill Hammond (right).
“The candidates for all of those offices will be participating in forums at our TAB Annual Conference on Feb. 5 and 6. We want our members to hear from those candidates personally before an endorsement is made in those races.”
