“I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, that the president should honor the commitment the Federal Government made to those people and let them keep what they’ve got,” former President Bill Clinton said in an interview at ozy.com earlier this week … not putting any time horizon on it, but instead offering that everyone should be allowed to keep their current health plan ObamaCare Cancellations-SignUps 11-13-13— permanently.

But NCPA Senior Fellow Devon Herrick says:

“At this point it would be all but impossible to force insurers to restore plans they have already cancelled in order to comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA.)”

“What Congress and the President must do to make good on the President’s promise, is repeal those ACA provisions that strictly regulate health plan benefits and mandate coverage levels.”
