38 Point Lead Against Her Nearest Opponent
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – SAN ANTONIO – Texas State Senator Donna Campbell, remains poised for victory even with the addition of another opponent for the March 4, 2014 Republican Primary election. In poll results released today, Campbell stands her ground as the prohibitive favorite.
In the survey conducted by Wilson Perkins Allen, a nationally respected pollster, on September 10-11, 2013, the results give a glimpse into what the future holds for any would-be Campbell challenger. [Poll Memo http://bit.ly/GADHLI
“Dr. Campbell had a successful Session and earned a reputation as a conservative champion. She attended to District concerns like water, transportation, and infrastructure while holding the line as a fiscal budget hawk,” said Allen Blakemore, the campaign’s senior strategist.
“These poll results show the outline and profile of a winning candidate. They paint a picture of a bleak future for any challenger,” Blakemore continued.
Donna Campbell is well positioned for victory:
- Dr. Campbell has outstanding job approval
- Dr. Campbell has a 38-point lead against her nearest opponent
- Donna’s conservatism reflects the mood of GOP voters in her district
These results today are further evidence that Campbell is the clear frontrunner in the race and that any would be challenger faces insurmountable odds. Today’s release supplements the earlier release of results from September 17, 2013 (http://bit.ly/17GY3vS)
