Two political arms of the Club for Growth Club for Growth Action and Club for Growth PAC today announced that they are launching a substantial three-state TV advertising blitz in Texas Michigan and Pennsylvania. The ads are scheduled to start running today. The details are as follows:
TX-SEN (Open Seat)
In Texass U.S. Senate race Club for Growth Action is launching two fifteen second spots targeting Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhursts support for higher taxes and for expanding Texass participation in federal government-sponsored health care. The Club for Growth PAC has endorsed former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz for the seat.
David Dewhurst pushed to raise business and sales taxes implement a wage tax and supported expanding Texas participation in government-sponsored health care. In Michigans Sixth Congressional District Club for Growth Action is launching a thirty second TV advertisement slamming liberal Michigan Republican Fred Upton. Fred Upton voted to bail out Wall Street supported billions in wasteful earmark spending like Alaskas infamous bridge to nowhere" and to raise the debt limit by trillions while raising his own pay by thousands. The Club for Growth Action advertisement aims to educate Michigan voters about Fred Uptons record. It is part of Club for Growth Actions ongoing effort to inform the public about the voting records of Members of Congress. The ads are scheduled to start running today throughout Michigans Sixth Congressional District.
The Club for Growth PAC has not made an endorsement in Michigans 6th Congressional District.
