Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Today, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Susan Combs, endorsed Representative Stefani Carter (R-Dallas) for re-election to the Texas House of Representatives for District 102.
“Representative Carter is a tireless advocate for her district and a champion of the conservative cause,” said Combs. “Stefani has a proven record of fighting for increased transparency in government and conservative fiscal policies. The Texas economy continues to prosper because of the vision of people like Stefani.”
Named one of the most conservative members of the Texas House, Carter won the “Courageous Conservative,” “Taxpayer Champion,” and “Best of the Legislature” awards.
“I am appreciative of Comptroller Combs’ endorsement,” said Carter. “It is an honor to have the support of a strong fiscal conservative. During her time as the state’s chief financial officer, Comptroller Combs has helped keep the economy strong and lead the way for more transparency in government.”
An attorney, former Collin County prosecutor and Harvard Law School graduate, Carter is seeking her third term in the Texas House.
