Understanding state tax responsibilities can be a daunting task for business owners. As the owner of a ranch operation herself Combs knows the challenges facing business owners and is committed to providing resources to assist.
During the month of November the Comptrollers office will conduct six free taxpayer seminars across the state. During these seminars taxpayers can learn how to properly fill-out sales tax forms filing and paying taxes electronically and e-services to help taxpayers manage their accounts online.
Comptroller representatives will be available to answer questions and provide assistance to attendees.
A strong and diverse business community is the key to Texas long-term economic strength. Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides much
needed expert guidance" said Comptroller Combs.
