“You all’ve got your own ideas on the solutions, and I’m willing to let you share those with me, but let’s talk about solving a problem in Washington, DC first.
“I am concerned about the fact that we have an Administration that has a history now of not enforcing the laws that are on the books,” said Carter, prior to laying out in detail his efforts to find a solution to a Senate controlled by the Democratic Party, a White House run by the head of the Democratic Party, and a House of Representatives controlled by the Republican Party.
