We can help ease the burden of rising gas prices on families & small businesses by developing more of the energy resources we have in the U.S.   Drilling in the Gulf of Mexico is vital not only to the livelihood of U.S. residents but also our economy & national security. Delays on pending permits are unacceptable."

I recently co-sponsored a bipartisan resolution in the House calling on the Secretary of the Interior to address Americas energy needs and streamline the approval of drilling permit applications.
