Im here on board the USS Harry S. Truman which is right in the middle of the Persian Gulf between Iran Iraq & Syria fighting against ISIS and where we have over 5000 sailors serving on this aircraft carrier.
I can tell you they believe in the mission they just received another extension of 30 days and yet their resolve bravery & courage is very very strong and moral is very very high said Texas Congressman & chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee Michael McCaul.
Thats why Im here. To say thank you for your service. We talk a lot about foreign policy in Washington about what were doing to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syrian but to see it in action to see it being implemented is truly one of the most impressive sights Ive seen as a Congressman McCaul said.
