Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas (SUGAR LAND TX) - Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) recently hosted a session of the 22nd Districts Congressional Youth Advisory Council (CYAC). The CYAC is a select group of high school students that meet with Congressman Olson to discuss various issues. This session focused on STEM or the Science Technology Engineering &Math fields. Guest speakers of this session included: Dr. Jack Kushner head of Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology at Texas Childrens Hospital; Dr. Maria Bettini research faculty in the Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology department at Texas Childrens Hospital; and David Brower founder of Astro Technology.

From NASA the oil and gas industry or working to cure cancer and save lives in the Texas Medical Center we are at the epicenter for promising careers that contribute to the world we live in.
