Cong. Will Hurd Talks: On Iranian Threats Border Security & Hillarys Email Exposures

TexasFreshman lawmaker has rare distinction of passing 4 Bills and having them signed into law AUSTIN Texas (Texas Insider Report)   My background is in National Security. I spent 9 years as an undercover officer in the CIA before coming to Congress. The problem with this administration is that our enemies dont fear us and our allies dont trust us. That has to change Cong. Will Hurd who represents the 23rd Congressional District of Texas tells Insiders Jim Cardle. The Presidents refusal to forcefully respond to their (Irans) aggressive posturing undermines our allies confidence and projects weakness to our enemies says Hurd who serves on the House Homeland Security Committee and spent 9 years overseas as an undercover CIA operative prior to being elected to Congress.

Watch Texas Insiders interview with Cong. Will Hurd a member of the House Homeland Security Committee who serves as Vice Chair of the Border Security Subcommittee.

What were seeing now with Border Security and the Border Patrol is that theyre focusing on 18 trans-national criminal organizations and trying to stop them before they get to our border. Were losing if theyre already getting to our border said Hurd who serves as Vice Chair of the House Homeland Security Committees Border Security Subcommittee.   When asked his opinion concerning Democratic front-runner Hillary Clintons ongoing email scandal Hurd said:
They contain Top Secret information. Thats a problem.  Hillary Clinton is saying the information wasnt top secret when she sent or received it ... I dont know of many instances where something becomes top secret Texasafter the fact. Having spent almost a decade in the Intelligence Community that sounds crazy to me. I know the FBI is investigating but to me if you are the head of an agency and you cannot protect the information and the people within that agency you are not fit to lead. Theres not too many people respected more than (FBI Director) James Comey in Washington D.C. and hes going to do his job. Weve got to let this move forward but when the State Department is saying 22 emails are Top Secret Information thats a huge problem Hurd said.
Hurd also currently serves on the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee where he chairs the Information Technology Subcommittee.
