Hurd will address the federal governments role in border infrastructure funding and take questions from the audience afterwards.

Hurd played a key role in the passage of bipartisan legislation that allows state governments to direct federally funded Highway Transportation dollars to be used to bolster border infrastructure. Four TX23 counties Maverick Val Verde Kinney and Presidio are already benefiting from the Coordinated Border Infrastructure legislation.
The mission of the Texas Border Coalition is to make legislative recommendations to help the Texas Border Region grow and prosper economically. This event is open to the press.
