Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON DC -- Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee a Senior Member of the House Homeland Security Committee and former Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Transportation Security and a current Member of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity Infrastructure Protection and Security Technologies will host Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson for his first visit to Houston Texas the Congresswoman will greet the Secretary upon his arrival to Houston Texas.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and the Secretary Jeh Johnson will meet with TSA and CBP employees while on his visit. Later in the day Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and Secretary Jeh Johnson and other local officials will conduct a FEMA Tour at Springwood Elementary School. All relevant times and locations will be given tomorrow (Sunday June 7 2015).
What: The devastation from the storms and flooding left so many with so little that the work of FEMA aid agencies faith communities community organizations companies and individuals are all needed to assist in this massive recovery effort.
