Cornyn: Obama Administration Moves 9/11 Trial to Civilian Court

Terrorist Who Took Credit For 9/11 Belongs in GITMO Not Civilian Court

JohnTexas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. The President should have been notifying Congress that hes planning a U.S. Civilian Court trial for a terrorist who took credit for 9/11 and is on video threatening to blow up more U.S. buildings and planes rather than issuing doomsday predictions about sequestration said U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) recently following the Obama Administrations decision to try al-Qaida spokesman and Osama bin Ladens son-in-law Sulaiman Abu Ghaith in federal court in New York without notifying Congress.
The President may not like it but the fact remains Gitmo is still up and running ... And as long as it is its the only place we should be detaining Americas most dangerous enemy combatants period."
Senator Cornyn serves on the Finance and Judiciary Committees.  He serves as the top Republican on the Judiciary Committees Immigration Refugees and Border Security subcommittee. He served previously as Texas Attorney General Texas Supreme Court Justice and Bexar County District Judge.
