Walking away from a bad deal is a far greater legacy than burdening the U.S. and the world with the dire consequences of one.
WASHINGTON U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) issued the following statement after ongoing negotiations regarding Irans nuclear capability were extended yet again:I strongly encourage the President and Secretary Kerry to remember that walking away from a bad deal is a far greater legacy than burdening the U.S. and the world with the dire consequences of one. Fortunately the Senate has already proven we will not stand by as the President makes far-reaching national security agreements over the well-founded concerns of the American people and I look forward to working with my colleagues to make sure our interests are protected in any potential deal with Iran."
