Today I had a very candid discussion with Mr. Lew where I expressed serious concerns about our growing national debt and a strong desire to achieve pro-growth tax reform. Both are crucial to putting people back to work and getting our nation on a path towards fiscal sustainability.
I appreciate his willingness to hear my concerns and I look forward to hearing his plan to address both of these issues in his confirmation hearing."
