DALE: Overbilled Toll Road Users to Receive Refunds in Excess of $1.7 Million

tony.daleTexas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas In response to statewide complaints about late and inaccurate billing by the TxTAG system State Rep. Tony Dale (R-Cedar Park wrote a letter to TXDOT Exec. Director Joe Weber on February 2nd asking for his personal leadership in resolving the issues. Since that time Weber Dale and key members of the House and Senate have been working on the issue and today TXDOT announced they are processing refund checks for approximately 31000 toll road customers that total at least $1.7 million. I am pleased that General Weber took the concerns of the people of Central Texas so seriously. The refunds by TXDOT and internal processes they are putting in place to ensure smooth road operations are big steps in the right direction" said Dale. Rep.
