The El Paso Times released a poll this past weekend showing Dee Margo leading his opponent by 8 points.
Margo is extremely pleased to have such a broad base of support across the district and will continue to meet with voters to discuss why he is the best choice for District 78.
Historically the El Paso Times’ polls have a large share of undecided voters.
In the most recent primary election The El Paso Times’ poll showed Dee leading Pat Haggerty 43 to 31 with 26 undecided. Factoring out those undecided voters Margo led Haggerty 58 to 42 which is within a single point of Dee’s actual primary election victory.
If the same test is applied to the Times’ most recent poll Dee Margo widens his lead over his opponent by 10 points 55 to 45 among those voters who are making a choice between the two candidates.
