exas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Dear Lojiks,

Does the name Nat Hentoff mean anything to you? When I wrote the book “Clear Moral Objectives,” I quoted Hentoff in my chapter on the Constitution. Hentoff is an expert on that subject and on the Bill of Rights. He wrote for the Village Voice for 51 years. He now writes for WND. He is a liberal icon.

He thinks it’s time to impeach Obama.Hentoff says Obama’s penchant for violating the separation powers makes him unfit for office. The article in WND also lists a dozen or so members of Congress who are urging impeachment. Not one of them is a Democrat. An impeachment should be bipartisan. For it to succeed and have meaning, the POTUS must have committed crimes against the people and the Constitution that are so heinous that there is little doubt that he is a criminal. Today’s brand of Democrats are not defenders of the Constitution. They might very well try to impeach a Republican president as payback. A mess? Yes. But Republicans will do well in November. Let’s work toward that goal.

JONAH GOLDBERG: Obama is giving an incredible gift to the Republicans. With some 80 million people due to lose their healthcare plans, Goldberg says the Democrats have little chance of taking back the House. The Senate is certainly within reach for Republicans. Obama’s governance has opened the door for a conservative revival.

Maybe that’s why they are so fixated on Chris Christie’s bridge scandal.

In Texas, Matt Angle and his merry band of spinners are engaged in damage control following Wayne Slater’s devastating piece in the Dallas Morning News detailing the lies of Wendy Davis. Ms. Davis had little chance of being elected governor. Now she has even less of a chance. S’long, Wendy!

McClatchy has a story out that the 85 richest people in the world control half the wealth. Interesting. But FOX News has a story out that shows how this little problem has been exacerbated by the Obama’s policies. It is a fact-based story that shows how liberal policies tend to make the inequality problem worse. Of course, the continuing consolidation of major industries also consolidates wealth. If you want jobs, you need a LOT of companies competing with each other. We don’t have that so much in media, commercial aviation, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, and even some categories of retail.

Gov. Chris Christie3dIn our “You can go to Hell; I’m going to Texas” department, Sean Hannity has pledged — not hinted — but pledged to leave New York. This comes after Gov. Cuomo made a state-of-the-state address saying that pro-life, smaller government types are not welcome in his state. Both Glenn Beck and Hannity fired back, and Limbaugh, of course, has already left. Hannity says he favors Florida.

Impeach? Or no? Time to stake a stand.

Logically,

Lynn Woolley
