Washington DCThe DNC will announce an unprecedented midterm election voter registration effort tomorrow June 17 at 1:30 pm EDT in a conference call and webinar with reporters.
On the call Brad Woodhouse DNC Communications Director Mitch Stewart Director of Organizing for America Natalie Foster DNC New Media Director and Josh Hendler DNC Technology Director will lay out details of the plan including its online offline and technological components.
This groundbreaking new voter registration program builds on the work Democrats did during the 2008 presidential cycle and is part of the unprecedented $50 million the DNC will invest through our VOTE 2010 campaign to help elect Democrats this fall.
The DNC will be working hard to make sure all eligible voters are registered able to vote and have their vote counted.
Among the groups the DNC is working to register are African Americans Latinos young people and women.
