Can Texas Afford Obamacare?
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Sixty-six percent (66) of voters in Texas at least somewhat favor repeal of the new national health care law including 57 who Strongly Favor says a recent Rasmussen Poll. According to Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst support for repeal is much higher in Texas than the rest of the nation and he aims to do something about it.
The more Texans know about Obamacare the less they like it said the Lt. Governor in announcing the launch of his new Fight ObamaCare website.
Obamacare is a prescription for bigger government higher taxes skyrocketing spending and crushing debt. We all know thats not the kind of health care Texas families and small businesses can afford Dewhurst said.
The majority of voters in the state (58) believe that states should have the right to opt out of the health care plan."
Also revealed in the poll available on Fight Obamacare Texas was that Texas voters also continue to oppose the provision in the new health care law that requires every American to obtain health insurance.
Fifty-seven percent (57) oppose the provision including 49 who Strongly Oppose it.
