Joe Pickett and Dee Margo Mayor John Cook and City Councilman Carl Robinson join top VLB and VA officials for casual meet and greet Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas The Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home will host a meet and greet for El Pasos top veterans advocates today Friday Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. .  Congressman Silvestre Reyes State Reps. Joe Pickett and Dee Margo Mayor John Cook and City Councilman Carl Robinson will join El Pasos VA Director Joan Ricard and others to see the home and get acquainted with top administrators for both the Texas Veterans Land Board and the homes private operator Sears Methodist. The VLB works hard to make this home a part of the El Paso veterans community said Kevin Warren deputy commissioner for the VLB. Breaking bread with our local partners at the VA and the elected officials we depend on will help us all work closer together to better serve El Pasos veterans.
