Congress has proven that Obamacare will be repealed.
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. -- Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman Bill Flores (R-Texas) today released the following statement in response to President Obamas veto of H.R. 3762 Restoring Americans Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act of 2015:
Today the president had the chance to put politics aside and alleviate the crushing burden hardworking Americans are facing under Obamacare. Instead he doubled down on his failed health care law. He has cemented his legacy as the president whose unstainable policies inflicted higher costs more anxiety and a dimmer economic future on American families.
Congress has proven that Obamacare will be repealed. It is now our task to craft a new solution that will lower costs and improve access to care for all. We can only do that by restoring power to individuals and families not federal bureaucrats that should be in charge of their own health care decisions. The Republican Study Committee has been a champion for conservative health care reform alternatives and will continue to lead the discussion in 2016."
Last year the Republican Study Committee introduced the
American Health Care Reform Act a conservative health care reform plan that fully repeals Obamacare and provides a patient-centered health care reform alternative.
