Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. U.S. Representative Bill Flores (R-Texas) released the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Courts unanimous ruling that the Obama Administration should compromise to accommodate religious organizations objections to Obamacares overreaching contraceptive mandate:
Todays Supreme Court decision is an important win for Little Sisters of the Poor and their fellow petitioners. Charitable groups like Little Sisters of the Poor are called to service because of their religious beliefs yet those same beliefs were violated by the Obama Administrations overreaching contraceptive mandate.
The Courts unanimous decision sent a clear and decisive message that this Administration has once again overstepped its constitutional bounds. This case is only the latest illustration of why Congress needs to repeal and replace the presidents disastrous health care law."
