Frullo Joins effort to Conmbat Underage Drinking with $10000 Poster Contest

width=72Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas State Representative John Frullo (R-Lubbock) is teaming up with the Texas Hospitality Association (THA) to fight underage drinking and to promote alcohol responsibility through a statewide poster contest that will award four 2012 high school graduating seniors $10000 in educational scholarships. THA will award a $5000 scholarship to the Texas high school senior who designs and submits the best poster conveying the message or theme: If you are under 21 its illegal to consume or purchase alcoholic beverages in Texas. A $2500 scholarship will go to the runner up $1500 to 3rd and $1000 to 4th place.  The winning poster will be used in a statewide campaign to promote alcohol responsibility in Texas. I want to encourage high school seniors to get involved in this statewide poster contest;  its an excellent opportunity to show your creative skills and promote a very important message!  said Rep. Frullo. The contest is open to all 2012 Texas high school seniors.  Artwork must be original design and may be computer or electronically generated hand drawn or photographed.  Students have until May 4th 2012 to submit their posters to THA.
