HARLINGEN May 3 - A precise and well executed military excursion into a foreign compound in the middle of danger will change the course of history.
The seal team was ready to rumble and only they know how many times they rehearsed and planned the whole ordeal. No one was injured. A shot to the head is clear indication that they meant business.
And if not for their Commander-in-Chiefs moxie the mission could have been canceled or put to the wayside to wait for a better opportunity." But the word was GO." The team was ready to immediately deploy because in other attempts the word abort" cut efforts short. These highly trained soldiers live for danger and were ready and anxious. In and out fast. mission complete. Mission impossible made possible.
The demise of Osama bin Laden should send a message to others in Al Qaeda that the partys over. If we can take the head of the monster we can take the rest of the body. Let them try and attack our mainland again. The leader of this country that is at the helm and close to the red button" has said in a way that the partys over." Lets hope they get the message.
The mighty might of the Japanese Empire over reached when they attacked Pearl Harbor. When they attacked Pearl it was like they had attacked any city in the mainland. We all know the consequences of that action. And so we had to avenge 9/11 no ifs ands or buts about it.
Now all the pundits will try to tell us what went down. How it went down. Why the mission was successful. And of course who should be given the credit for the success of the mission.
As a veteran with limited war experience all I can say is that its about time that we stopped running the military trying to be politically correct." In war there is no room for that. And I am sure that the men of the team who carried out the mission are jubilant and celebrating that their Commander-In-Chief gave the go ahead. The POTUS has proven that he means business when it comes to fighting terrorism. And no matter your political affiliation we must admit that this action will make America respected and stronger. The Worlds eyes are in awe as to what happen in Pakistan.
To all the families who were affected by 9/11 this will probably not bring complete closure but I hope it helps; and I hope that all of you understand that America still remembers.
And watch. If it would be possible to interview some of the men in the team they would probably come back with just doing our job." Semper Fi to the Navy Seals.
