HOUSTON Texas – September 26 2008 – GDF SUEZ Energy North America Inc. today announced it is contributing $500000 to the Texas Disaster Relief Fund established by Governor Rick Perry to assist in Hurricane Ike relief efforts. In addition the company will match individual contributions to the fund by its employees through its Employer Match Program.
“Millions of Texans suffered through Hurricane Ike and many of our citizens are still suffering and need help” Governor Perry said. “This fund can be a lifeline to Texas communities whose resources have been depleted. I’m grateful to the business community and to generous individuals including GDF SUEZ and its employees for their support.”
