Shekinah Radiance Academy and Radiance Academy of Learning Charter Schools
Dr. Cheryl Washington Superintendent announces that Shekinah Radiance Academy and Radiance Academy of Learning Charter Schools have received seven Gold Performance Acknowledgements (GPAs) from the Texas Education Agency.
The recognition is for districts and campuses that have achieved high academic performance on various indicators. This year was the first time charter schools have been eligible to earn GPAs. They were evaluated using the same criteria as other public schools in Texas.
Shekinah Radiance schools received Gold Performance Acknowledgements for Attendance Reading/ELA Science and the Texas Success Initiative- Higher Education Readiness Component in English Language Arts.
Shekinah Radiance schools receiving the GPAs are located in northeast and southeast San Antonio Del Rio West Columbia and La Marque Texas. Shekinah Radiance Charter Schools are public tuition-free schools with a private-school feel.
