Texas Insider Report: DALLAS Texas Donald Trump is pop culture. He is pop culture with a spin. He is smart really smart. He is flashy media savvy and epitomizes the American dream. More importantly he appeals to a wide demographic of Americans. He is exactly what
the Republicans need to capture the cool" buzz and heaven knows the Republican Party needs some pop and sizzle."
It is an opportunity to expose the mainstream culture to the Republican cause.
Yet the Republicans have balked. They have reneged on a cheeky chance to garner a wide berth of potentially new recruits - the autopilot liberals.
Many align with the Democratic Party because it is hip." The liberal elite presents the Republicans as stuffy and boring. Younger generations are vulnerable to the subliminal perverted message that only the Democrats care for the poor the environment the teachers and the firefighters.
To them the Republicans are rich wealthy selfish characters who simply want to trample on the less fortunate and ruin the environment.
Ironically what better way to contradict this myth than with an iconic entrepreneur who has the ear and eyes of the mainstream populace.
Trump with his star quality and mesmerizing arrogance is willing to offer the Republican candidates a paparazzi paradise showcasing their reasonable hardworking characteristics and that they too care about the poor the

environment the teachers and the firefighters not mention the economy and national security.
To a new audience they can present their ideas and solutions for America and Americans instead of preaching to the choir on Fox News. Yet disappointingly all but two of the Republican candidates have passed on the Trump debate
Gingrich and Santorum are the only ones who have the compelling willingness to jump into the ring. Their courage exhibits inherent American qualities: true grit and determination.
The other candidates refusal to attend reflects poorly upon their confidence and it begs the question: if they cannot hold their own with Donald Trump how can they hold their hold their own with Barack Obama? Trump is a walk in the park in comparison to Obama.
The Republican Party has slipped into amnesia. How quickly they underestimate Obamas absolute genius at capturing and manipulating pop culture.
His uncanny knack for harnessing the power of persuasion is unparalleled as is his ability to blitz the media and subsequent minds of Americans with his toothy smile and modish manner. The only one who can match his intrigue is Trump.
Someone within the Republican Party and the Republican campaigns need to wake up and smell the smolder. Obama is winning the race with his masterful sound bite campaigning and Truman and Teddy tried and trues.
Yet Donald can trump Obama at his own game of media manipulation and sound bite genius. The Republican candidates need to step up to the plate and join the debate.
