Government Spying on Its Own Federal Agency Staffers

In this case the FDA was monitoring their employees communications with Congress with the Office of Special Counsel says the Government Accountability Projects Jesselyn Radack after several Food & Drug Administration employees were revealed to be the target of a major surveillance program by their employer. It turns out that the FDA is not alone.   After internal FDA investigations discovered the FDA employees were reporting concerns they had to lawmakers and other officials high-tech surveillance programs were set up to monitor their internet behavior within and by the FDA. Last month several employees at the Food & Drug Administration were revealed to be the targets of a major width=265surveillance program by higher-ranking FDA officials. The U.S. has spent billions to safeguard classified information and its been reported that at least one dozen federal agencies have adopted monitoring software to watch every action their employees perform. As the war on whistleblowers continues Jesselyn Radack of the Government Accountability Project talks more about the increasing surveillance of government employees as now as it turns out that the FDA is not alone.
