Grass Roots Insitutute of Texas Gives Almost $700000 in In-Kind Contributions

width=160Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas The Grass Roots Institute of Texas PAC or GRIT as it is better known to many Texans announced it has made in-kind contributions during this reporting period of almost $700000. GRIT founded early last year has risen rapidly in credibility & influence said Bill Burch of Arlington the groups chairman.   GRIT has sent more than 50 million emails in the last three weeks on behalf of its endorsed candidates said Burch. The candidates for Texas State Representatives supported by GRIT include:

Burch said GRIT believes it most likely that Statewide Republican Candidates will win their elections.  The Group sent 10s of millions of emails throughout Texas said Burch on their behalf in an effort to help the width=71down ballot candidates. If the Texas Independent voters know how great the Republican candidates are they will be more likely to vote straight Republican said Burch. The GRIT Board of Directors and its members have a track record of significant achievements this year said Burch including the largest training of Republican Delegates & Alternates in Texas history held in conjunction with the Denton County Republican Party. GRIT plans to continue its historic initiatives said Burch. For instance in order to help continue & solidify the change of politics in Texas GRIT is working to make sure that at least two of the GRIT Hispanic candidates win thus starting a trend. width=160The group will also have a goal of passing legislation during the 2011 Session said Burch.
