Pete Flores (Texas Parks & Wildlife Department) Chief Charles Hooker (Pflugerville Police Department) Mayor Lee Leffingwell (City of Austin) Mayor Pro Tem Mike Martinez (City of Austin) Director Steve McCraw (Texas Department of Public Safety) Chief Ralph Meyer (Texas State University Police Department) Council Member Laura Morrison (City of Austin) Mayor Susan Narvaiz (City of San Marcos) Sheriff Terry Pickering (Bastrop County) Commissioner William Pina (Bastrop County) Chief Ernesto Rojas (Austin Independent School District Police Department) and Chief Harold Thomas (Hutto Police Department).
Butler tribute speakers are Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo and Greater Austin Crime Commission directors Dr. William H. Cunningham Joe E. Holt Dr. Michael L. Lauderdale and Adm. Bobby R. Inman USN (Ret).
The Greater Austin Crime Commission was established in 1997 to support Central Texas law enforcement raise public awareness about crime prevention programs and promote a cooperative and coordinated community public safety effort.
