Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Congressman Gene Green released the following statement after President Obama announced that a nuclear agreement has been reach with Iran:
I commend all the parties involved for the hard work and countless hours it took to reach an agreement. It is now Congress turn to put in the same type of work. We have a responsibility to review the intricate details of the plan and decide whether or not to authorize the Administration to proceed. Congress asked for a place at the table and now we must ensure the deal passes muster. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle and the Administration."
